Hi everyone.
I've been trying to join the forum for quite some time, in the end I've had to create anew account as I couldn't even PM the administrator- I obviosly did something wrong when attempting to register the first time.
Anyway, I have a 110- sort of.
It was a 90 TD
A previous owner blew the engine, so a mate bought it and I was going to help and part own it. A Landy would be really handy and make towing my trailer a lot easier.
The small patch of rust on the chassis turned out to be beyond economic repair (one rail needed plating top bottom and both sides for 60% of the length, the other about half that, the rear cross member had gone as had the out riggers).
So he decided to buy a new chassis, he agreed a 110 was going to be more practical, so bought a TD5 110 chassis. Then 110 tub, 110 axle, drive shaft, suspension and fuel tank.
Now he's bored of the project, and I have decide to take over.
I'm out in Norfolk, and have a few cars (Lotus) which I sometimes need a trailer for, so the Landy is going to be a practical car for me.
Andy
