Hello.
New to the site. Looks great. Hi to everyone.
I'm in the middle of restoring my Defender 110 300TDi Van. It's my first land rover and wasn't the best buy (Very Rusty!!) and I think they saw me coming but as I have restored cars in the past I felt I could give it a good go. And I couldn't just send it to the scrap yard.
Been off the road now about a year but coming to the final stages fingers crossed with the build. My brother is a welder fabricator so you can imagine how helpful he has been. He is prob the brains of the operation. Lol.
I could complain about the bills and the rust and the crappy heating and the cold nights driving round in it and the windows that don't de'mist when it's wet but I couldn't go back to anything else! And driving past silly sods who have driven in 6 inches of water and wonder why there being past by my defender with a smile on my face , or people who think there car will be fine in 4 inches of snow and Blame there curbed wheels on the council just makes my day. So really it's the best buy I've ever had. I was told when you get a defender you get hooked and I defo have!
Would like to post a build thread where is the best place to put it? Also using a ipad so hope I can post pictures using a ipad?

Can't wait to get to grips with the site.
Cheers all. :)
