Oh! Not a good strat to your LR ownership..........but it's good to see you have a sense of humour.............YOU WILL NEED ONE :)
Welcomr to the site, hopefully it's nothing too serious with your FL.

Feck knows!

Doing 70 mph down the A3 and it started to shudder, a few hundreds yards later it started to lose power. It then picked up again and was fine for the next mile or so. It then started to shudder, lose power again only that time it stopped! MIL came on. Couldn't see any smoke and turnover was strong, temp was normal.
If I hadn't filled up 50 miles before I would have said I'd ran out of diesel. I've also hit a dear while in an audi S3, that damaged the air flow sensor which gave the same symptoms as last night. I called the RAC who ran some type of diagnostic, they came back with .....Fault not found!!!

Cheers

Hi Stewart

Welcome.

Didn't I just read about a faulty MAF sensor doing just this on this or another Land Rover forum? Maybe try unplugging it and see if it runs ok without it? I might have this wrong though?

welcome Stew!

more likely to be fuel pump or filter!!!

pull the pipes off the lift pump in tank an switch on ignition should chuck fuel out if its ok..

Or is it in a garage waitin to be fix and not your garage at home ??

Its great value! The club doesn't want to make any profit it just wants drivers to get on a track and have fun, so whatever the track cost is it's split between the drivers...eg...Goodwood=£3000 for the day. 30 cars=£100 each. Plus second driver is free and so are any passengers.
I'll send an open invite to anyone here for a pax ride on my next track day;)

Cashybai,
Sounds like a hoot!.....what happens if it doesn't rain???
Cheers
