New member here and even newer RR owner, just got myself a '88 Classic 3.5, she's pretty sound but just a few niggling points. I'm not convinced the Air Flow Sensor is working properly, is there a test for this unit, ie expected resistances, or is it just a case of get a new one and see if it sorts the problem? Also while she runs well on LPG, petrol is another matter, not convinced the fuel pump is running meaning the engine cuts out when you switch over to petrol from lpg, I try to listen out for it but when your cranking a v8 its a hard job!! Is there a test to engage the pump without cranking the engine? short a relay etc? while i've still got loads of questions i'm going to leave it for another day!! hopefully someone can help me out there, and hopefully in the future as I become more competent with the vehicle I can start pouring my knowledge back into the forum!!
