hi all!
I have just bought a 1999 Freelander 1.8 XEI 50 year anniversary edition.
After doing a search for HDC Amber/sticky throttle I cant decide if i need to: a) get the throttle cable slackened off.
b) get the throttle body replaced.
c) replace a switch somewhere.
As you may tell from the above 3 i intend to get a qualified person to do this as i am as much use with cars as tits on a fish! does anyone know roughly how much any of these would cost to get done at a specialists?

p.s. symptoms are: Amber HDC light always on, brakes fine, throttle sticks and accellerates on own accord at random periods, only remedy is to touch accellerator pedal again!
