Hi everyone I'm a 20 y/o student from Cheshire. Last month I bought an ex mod 90 2.5 n/a in olive green. Its 1992 model though it got released from army in 2011. I haven't had any problems with it so far, though it's taking me time to get used to dealing with no power steering and height restrictions at carparks! It also needs an oil change which I will be booking tomorrow morning. Can anyone give me beginners advice on my first land rover? Also are there any clubs I can join in the area for greenlaning? Welcome!I have an ex MOD 110, same engine but a lot older.
They are rock solid fab motors, not quick but reliable, just keep it serviced!
These are easy to work on and parts are very cheap from the right places.

Cheers! absolutely love mine, and its quirks, but have to say they have non of the ECU and sensors everywhere nonsense!
Any questions just ask, got a thread on mine under smileys 110 rejuvenation thread if you want to see some repair / maintenance stuff.
