Evening all,

Scott here from Perth, Scotland. Im 33, a Web Designer, and for my sins just picked up a 2001 Freelander 2.0D, 3 dr hardtop for £550. 150k miles and a few wee issues, but no stranger to the spanners :p

Will no doubt have to bend a few ears with some questions after a good search around....

Already downloading the rave manual and getting ready to have a dig around that too.

Catch ya's later :)

Welcome to Landy Zone @ScottF, just giving you a "heads up", you'll possibly catch a bit of flak on the forum because you own a Fleelander, but don't take offence it's all in good spirit.
Some say it's because the doors fall off, but I suspect they are still petty good units anyway.

Welcome to the best owners forum going ... stay off of Anything Goes until your happy you can cope with the 'banter' ... they can be rough with new comers, but a Glasgow kiss still works anywhere :)

Have fun and if you have questions, try to ask in the appropriate section ... if your not sure sneak it in any where ... someone will spot it ...

Cheers folks. Sure i'll get plenty of flak for the freelie but all in its not too bad, apart from the copious amounts of exhaust fumes in the cabin :( oh and the leaking gearbox and diff and missing prop shaft.
She was only £550 with 120k so even if it only lasts til spring, it'll do. Live way up in the Glens so hoping for not much in the way of snow, especially since my new freelie 4x4 is FWD only at present LOL

47 views and 2 replies is kinda sad for a "community", kinda makes introducing self pointless, but that's forums in general I think. no wonder I generally shy away from forums... new here myself after today finding I fancy a land rover I probably won't buy. anyway, from one noob to another... welcome.
