new vcu

hi just got my new vcu today brand new 324 and new bearings but how far do you tap the bearings on to the shaft had a look at rave but not that clear on there many thanks also there are 4 washers do u use all 4

match it all to the old one, dimensions etc, and press them on do not hammer

They are not washers, They are for keeping the crap out of the bearings. Make sure you put them on the right way round. Sounds to me like you need to get someone to do the job for you. Not taking the ****, its just that if you dont get it right, it will vibrate like f**k. Bearings need to be pressed on and not hit in anyway as this will greatly reduce the life span.
