Hello,

I want to move to 245/75r16 on my no lift discovery 2.

How can I adjust the speed indicator to have my true speed?

Any solution with the Nanocom?

thanks and best regards,
Amaury

Hi, no chance with nanocom but as those tyres are just a bit more than 5% bigger than standard the speedometer reading will be closer to the true speed like with std tyres as with std there is an aprox 5% higher speedo reading than the true speed... that's valid for almost all same generation vehicles, the speedo reading is your last concern, better watch the braking distance and consumption... and EGT if you have a gauge

To piggyback, I've got 265/60/18 tyres on my 20mm lift D2a V8. Factory is 255/55/18.

The speedo is out by quite a bit compared to GPS speed.

Apart from expensive recalibrations, nothing I can do, right?

Hello SierraFery,

Always great inputs from you, thanks for that,

I am more concern with legal requirement, at Luxembourg all change must be registered on car paper.

just a quick one , I expected that the impact to change to the new tyre size will be not significant considering tha i increase the diameter but i reduce the wide. Do you really think that there is a important impact? and why the EGT?, my engine is stock.

thanks in advance
Amaury
