hi all, thanks for letting me join. I'm just after general sort of advice (pointing in the right direction).
I hear a lot about people removing their EGR valves and blanking it off. My question is what do they do with the pipe work they remove? I have a defender 300tdi and the stainless flexi pipe has a split in it, so I'm looking for a replacement. I have contemplated fitting a blanking kit, but I'm not sure it would pass an MOT because technically I'd have tampered with the emissions. Although I have to admit at the moment instead of a gasket between the pipe and EGR I have a plate cut to the exact size in its place that is blanking the flow. Does anyone have this section of pipe they don't want anymore. Or know where I can it?
