new to this site hello everyone

hi guys and girls .
well im new to this site and will have loads of questions on the freelander
at the moment i own a pajero 2.5 lwb
and im thinking of selling it to get a freelander. my brother in law as one and his is a 02 model . he tells me that is i get one make sure i have the common rail engine . bmw i think . not sure though . i have been looking on auto trader and have noticed that there are loads of differant models
maybe someone would like to explain on some of these . i had a go in my brother inlaws tonight and i noticed that it as alot of turbo lag is this common for the freelander or is it that his needs a service ???
anyway im glad i have found this site . i have alot of reading to do
so i better get started lol

common rail diesel is the TD4 model.
