New starter motor no glow!

Hi all, i recently fitted a new starter motor to my Defender 200TDi with the help of a friend but now the glow plugs don't work.
No light on the dash or click from the relay.
The engine fires up straight away but im worried it might not in the colder weather.
Any ideas or advice on why would be appreciated. Thanks.

Did you put all the wires/connectors back onto the starter motor solenoid studs?
If it worked before you touched it, then it has to be something simple you have forgotten.
