over 1" of tread showing will earn a fail from most mot testers and the front numberplate is also a fail ! take it off and stick it to the back of the passenger sun visor, it keeps it safe and keeps you legal

Mines passed its MOT with 12.50 wide tyres for the past 2 years no fuss and i havent been stopped driving it yet...normally just get a big smile off coppers :p

my 90 didnt fail the mot when i had 35/11.50/15 and 35mm spacers on and standard arches..

the only reason i put on ext arches was to stop all the mud flying up in my face and all down the side of the landy

Or don't have a MOT tester that is related to Adolf Hitler....

erm just one that is doing his job!

to be honest those sidewalls look awful vulnerable any bits of metal or flint you drive over is gonna slice through them ( my cousin got a set like that he had to replace one on his first outing as a piece of flint put a 6" cut right through the sidewall)
