Disco 1 New seats help needed

Hi all

My current seats have had it bottoms both gone and filthy so a mate had a set of pretty good Subaru classic seats he was giving away so have had them, they have the runners on them still. I have heard a few people say can't member which site that that are just a straight swap over has anyone got them fitted in there trucks and are they just a case of bolt them in and that's it or will I need to weld brackets etc on to them ?

I've got some Subaru seats, was going to fit in my 3 door D1 (are 3 & 5 for runners same?) but the runners are different widths - easily modded with some plate accross I suppose

But for me there are many more important jobs yet so probably won't get done

Why not just get two new upgraded seat supports from Craddocks.
Easy to fit and reasonably priced. If you need to clean seats as well plentyof stuff in halfords.
Completely changed my Disco 1 when i fiited new support

I could but love the look and comfort of the Scooby seats do want them.in there and they are free unless I need to moddify anything
