New post / thread not updated

When I click on the NEW POSTS button it brings up the posts since my last vist as expected. After a few pages I also get a heading saying the following threads have not been updated since my last visit but contain unread posts. Is there a way to stop this showing up or just something I need to live with. Only asking as I'm used to other forums where this doesn't happen and the page count gives an indication of how busy the forum has been.

Dunno, the forums far to busy for new posts to be much use, there's far to many of them. I use my replies for updates on threads I've commented on

If you're really that bothered, you could click the "Mark forums as read" link before logging out. But as BB says, the forum is so busy that you're still going to have pages of stuff to click through!

I may need to try that approach. This is one of the quieter forums I frequent and my wife complains about the amount of time I spend on them.

I looked for the mark forums read button and couldn't find it so I'll look again, thanks.
