Hi wise ones,
New owner, 2010 FL2 GS, 97k with good history, so a keeper worthy of upkeep, but need good local guys / girls who brains I can unpick….
Aware that I need to, in priority order as budget permits…..
Timing belt & water pump, Haldex service, remove swirl flaps, bushes, gearbox and diff oils service, winter weather protection, new battery, new Xtrons head unit with CarPlay integrated dash cam reverse cam and DAB, many farkles from Powerful Ltd…
Ok,ish doing my own spannering, but no drive to work on just gravel drive (hoping to get some barn space from local farmer soon, but until then…). So looking for local garage / independents to do mechanical parts of the above list, or someone willing to give up some weekend time to help out / advise in exchange for suitable beer tokens!
SG9 is Buntingford area, Hertfordshire…..
Seen maybe 6-8 FL2’s around here in my week of ownership (funny how they jump out when you have one) so guessing there must be a few people round this way ….
Will entertain you all with my tales of success / anguish and failure as the months unfold!
