Well here i am 1 week into owning my Freelander TD4 auto 02 plate (72k). I have had a Range Rover before so regardless of those raised eye brows from friends and family who thought i knew better working in the trade, i bought one regardless.:D

The list to do so far..

OSR door check strap almost totally seized new one on order, Kids get in other side :p

Sump cover removed and refitted twice and im almost an expert during which i examine the auto box leaking through where the two casings join ! Its a new auto box but im struggling to find who fitted it as it may be warranty.

On standby is a tin of Wynns Stop leak & Conditioner
Does anyone have any opinion on this and whether it will fix, Its not a bad leak, Its like a dog, everywhere i park it it leaves its mark, usually the size of a 10p

CD autochanger ordered at a knockdown price of £25 + vat :D ;)

Service kit ordered after the job of inspecting the filter i decided the next time i struggled with the allen screws it would be to the benefit of a new filter.Haynes manual awards three spanners to the job of replacing the fuel filter so im expecting a laugh there too this weekend:confused:

Squeak to sort from parcel shelf

Screws to replace from a past life (engine cover, frt bumper etc), It must be a fact these things get lighter each year with the things that get removed and never refit.

And after all this and being used to japanese reliablility, owning it a week and it leaks

I actually rather like it and in a strange way it wouldn't be a Landrover if it didnt have its quirks

Im typing this now so in months to come when im broke with no skin left of my knuckles and a question why, it will help me smile.
