Greetings, wanted to stop by to introduce myself... Been lurking and reading quite a bit. I've been a Land Rover fan for many years now. Finally been able to get the one of my dreams... 110 td5.

I'm in Colorado, US; and while there aren't many 110s (let alone TD5s), I've found this site extremely helpful in diagnosing and fixing things. Thanks to everyone for a great community!!

My truck...
'86 rebuilt 'fender 110 CSW.
Galv chassis
TD5
basically stock, 'cept for EGR removal

I'm chasing down some drivetrain slop and making sure it's mechanically ready for all the other stuff I want to do to it. Remap, silencer removal, larger intercooler, vnt, etc. It's a long list of things to save up for.

I have to say, a rhd here in the US is pretty fun! Get a lot of look, smiles, thumbs up, and generally people just want to chat about it.

WELCOME!
My great aunt on my Dad's side was a G.I. bride and has lived in Denver since then. I think she's still alive, in her nineties though :D
My Dad and I went on holiday when I was 16 and stayed with her and my great uncle for 3 weeks. Saw some beautiful parts of the country. Ideal for 4 wheelin' !!

Thanks all!

Colorado is a lovely part of the country... I fell in love with it when I was a young kid. Family camping trips around the US and Canada. It was, by far my favorite place. Now with a family of my own... It's a dream come true.

Excellent 4wd trails. Great Landy club too... Solihull Society. Their "national rally" is going on this week/end in Ouray, CO. Nicknamed the Swiss Alps of America.

It's unfortunate that work has to get in the way of fun... But we are on the front range, so heading into the mountains is a 30 minute drive. So I can't complain too much. :)
