Hello fellow LR owners.
I'm new to the site and live in south wales. I'm a massive fan of the Discovery but not too flush for cash so any self help tips would be grateful.
I previously had a LR3 discovery which was great but had to sell it due to a house move. So I promised myself that I would buy another one day.
2 years ago I got myself a LR4 2010 as I preferred the newer style and as with my LR3 I love it. What a tool and a great car. However (and I'm sure you were waiting for this) I have had a few issues. First I had a turbo manifold replaced then shortly after I had a suspension fault. I've replaced the battery as it was showing a little low amp readings when the car was cranking. I understand this can cause problems. I then removed the compressor and replaced the air filtration beads and seals due to on inspection they were breaking down into a fine powder. Now the rear of the car lifts but the front doesnt, or it takes ages, and I mean a good few minutes.
My question is do I now remove the air control valve blocks to clean the seals and would o then have to recalibrate the suspension system?? Many thanks in advance for any tips!
