Hello, recently purchased a 2a last year, currently got compression problems of 105psi across all cylinders, tested them wet as well only raised comp by 5psi, I've seen a series 3 head unleaded head for sale does anyone know if this will fit.

Far more likely to be rings than it is a fooked head.

I thought that if you do a wet test and the comp shoots up then that points to rings?

Not if they're shagged. Do you get lots of smoke when running especially when cold?? Are you losing Oil (more than you lose on the drive)

head usually means oil in water, emulsified oil on filler cap etc etc..

No smoke what so ever, losing a bit of oil nothing that I'm to worried about, there is a lack of power as well.

I was thinking the valves being burnt away as its a leaded head.

head will fit ,an unleaded conversion to head is just fitting 4 steel exhaust seats , you can feel bore wear when you remove head ,will be worse on passenger side of block
