Greetings from Australia,
After years of Rover saloons, P38s, and a D2 TD5, last week we ended up with a 2009 RRS TDV8.
There have been a few teething problems, not unexpected, but would appreciate a little guidance regarding ACE.
Codes are C1B11-62 (pressure control valve) and C1119-62 (hydraulic pressure)
Filter in the valve block was collapsed so it has been replaced. Pressure reading is a little higher (5 bar) than before but still faulting within a few seconds of start up. I siphoned the fluid from the reservoir and it really didn’t look too bad, no signs of metal etc.
Is it more likely to actually be a mechanical failure of the regulator, or a data error from a faulty sender? I disconnected the solenoid and this gave different codes (but curiously, an amber dash warning rather than the ominous red)
Any insight would be most welcome, thanks in advance
