New member and stuck already!

Just joined and wanting some help! Just bought a P38 4.0 SE RangeRover. It has done 65,000 miles and is in great condition. HOWEVER, the cruise control is not working.

When I was looking to buy many said cruise was not working. Is it a simple problem? Is it always the same thing? Any suggestions for the way forward!

OK... No replies but sorted it. Had a really good look around cruise components and squeezing the actuator revieled an air leak on one of the tubes in the engine bay.
