Have just fitted a new (genuine) door seal on the driver's door of my 1996 110. Pretty straightforward to fit, and seems to be a snug as.. However the door no longer sits nice and flush in its frame - now about half an inch out at the top corner, and there is a nice breeze coming in from the top corner when travelling at speed (relatively speaking of course). Is this just a matter of continuing to fiddle with the striker plate to get the door as tight as possible in the frame, or will the new seal eventually "give" a little?
