Good evening fellow enthusiasts and Land Rover owners. I have recently returned to to the world of Land rovers after a 20+ year hiatus away and have returned to a new order.
I am seeking help and advice to get the best for my recently bought LR Freelander 1 2.0ltr TD4.
I have a standard HSE model and would like to modify it for road/off road use; after the mandatory full service and timing belt change, I intend to start with brakes and suspension, so my first question to anyone whom has the time and also the much needed advice to give me is what is the better option for rear brakes? I believe that I have standard drum brakes on the rear but can I modify for solid disk brakes? I will be doing the front at the same time with solid disk. Has anyone got sound advice on which to go for and where I can purchase the above mentioned disc brakes? Thanking you all in advance,
