need more power

Hi all

anyone know where i can get a conversion kit to transform my '85 2.5 defender 90 to a rover V8 ? I've actually got a 289 ford small block V8 but i'v seen even less if nohting on that to convert it.

sell the defender diesel and buy a v8. keep the change for a really good holiday.

my mistake. saw the 2.5 and thought it was an oil burner.

this is my 1st ever Land Rover and i've only had it 4 days and i'm very happy with it so far, but having said that it would be nice to plonk a v8 into it

Why not tune the 2.5?

I tuned my 2.5.
It's currently running in F flat.

i've not seen many parts for the 2.5 only general service items, any idea whats avaliable ?
