I have a 2002 Honda CRV. It is one year old and needs small amount of
repairs. I owe $16,000 on this car at this time. I am willing to
sell it for $12,000. Would I have to come up with $4,000 right away to
pay the difference if I sell the car? I know that the new owner would
want to put the car in their name. Does anyone out there have any free
advice for me regarding this matter? I am paying on 2 cars now and it
is really too much money to do this. Please check out my ad by clicking
on the link below. thanks.

Yeah. Here's your advice:

Continue to pay on two cars.

Have you ever heard of the phrase "under water?" You're under water on the
Honda by $4 grand and yes, if you wish to have the title transferred to the
new owner, you'll most certainly have to come up with the jing as soon as
you sell. I would say that your bank would insist on it.

No, thank you. I have a 4Runner that I'm very happy with.
