nanocom/hawke eye

Ok, went to buy hawke eye diagnostic today but guy from bearmach said that it will not calibrate ride height sensors ,i explained that i thought the old nanocom did and that was why originally i wanted this. He said that the Hawke eye does far more than the nanocom and the Nanocom did not calibrate, only read ,ride height sensors anyway. He then went on to say that they will be bringing out and additional software package which can be brought to cover this. Does anyone have a nano com that can confirm this .

I can confirm that the current version of Nanocom does set ride height (although I haven't used the function). It's worthwhile downloading all the instruction manuals from the nanocom website then you have a good idea of what it will & won't do.

It is accurate to say that there is a new Nanocom due out any day now (finger tapping on table) and as soon as it is out I will be buying one. The new one will apparently be able to additionaly interrogate the Electronic Automatic Transmission (EAT) ECU.

There are more Nano users that Hawkeye ones and as a result better back-up imo from forum members.

why not buy a s/h rovacom mk 2 from www.blackboxsolutions ? tad expensive but comes with the liciences and then you can do the p38 v8s as well

well I got fed up waiting just bought a hawkeye, I think it does everything I need from it and its a really good price £249 plus the dreaded vat

we shall see

anybody in the Gloucester area needs a diagnostic just give me a shout

I see you say the new Nanocom is due out any day now, but who is going to be selling it as bearmach dont seem to know of this release and are pushing the hawke eye ??

Nanocom initially said they were going to sell direct from their website - www.nanocom.it - but I've have heard nothing more for about a month now
