Hi all, i've recently purchased my first land rover - a 2004 range rover vogue diesel. I knew full well before buying it that there would be plenty of visits to such forums as this through its lifetime!! So my first problem is this: I've noticed some leaking fluid - possibly power steering fluid, but i'm not sure, its thinner than engine oil and golden in colour. I've seen it from underneath, it seems to have dripped down from somewhere behind the power steering box direcly onto the boot of the steering rack below. I've felt all around the power steering box and that seems dry, however, I have spotted a plastic pipe directly behind the power steering box next to another black bottle. The pipe has a bit of braid on it and seems to be comming from somewhere down the side of the engine block. There is a clip there that the pipe seems to fit into, but the strange thing is there is nothing on the end of the pipe. There is a bulge / olive on the end of it suggesting it should go somewhere but I can't see where. This is where I suspect the fluid is comming from as its oily on the end etc. Any help would be much apprecieated!!
