Went to see a 97 P38 4.6 yesterday, it was in great condition 2 owners with a full history, prins sequential plus lpg system, new block 8k previous, interior was in really good condition, factory sat-nav, dvd + playstation, test drive was a real pleasure and I was hooked, owner told me that he had just had the air suspension switches replaced and that his garage told him it may throw up an eas fault light, but not to worry it was because the system needed to recognise them and to return it to him to clear the fault light and all would be well. tested the full range of heights and it resonded very quickly, discussed it with the wife and both agreed that it was obvious that this car had been well looked after and bought it.
Driving home the light appeared but it made no difference to the car then 35miles further on approaching the m27/m3 interchange in the outside lane at around 75mph the suspension suddenly collapsed (accomanied by the 35mph warning) sending me pogoing down the road, very scarey, called the rac out at 5.30 arrived home at 9.30 (90mls).
It's now with the local main stealer awaiting to have the system reset and codes read, does anyone know of a good independant local to the Gatwick/East Grinstead areas.
