New to the forum and new to off roading. Most of my mates have had 4x4's for some time though.
Picked her up yesterday and already she has a few more "character" dents...lol! Only cost me a grand so i think i've done alright.

Love it. Next step is some guards, 2" lift and a snorkel as there's alot of water on the tracks we use locally.
Also a shocking pic of my mates series 2 i think? He's just restored it. Not done a bad job bearing in mind he's 19. Reg is 590 HVS so that'd be series 2?

He wants another off roader though so will be getting rid once its 100% on the road.

Sounds like a registration issued to replace a cherished number someone's removed, rather than its original number.
Only reliable way to tell a II from a IIa is the chassis no. Looks like a II radiator panel though (chrome headlight surrounds)

Do you really think mines a 1962 90 on a F plate? Hmm yes...

there's no point is being specific after the fact yer big gurls blouse with little heart shaped buttons on it!!!

All i said was my mates series is from 1962. Apparently i'm not specific enough and get called a ****. So yes Sean i am.

Would you call a random in the street a **** if they werent specific enough in a conversation they werent even having with you?

depends what it was that was random, if it was a random **** then yes i probably would. if it wur a random Danni then no i wouldn't.
