Hi,
I'm Rog. I've had my Defender 90, 2001 reg, since March 2024. She has done 128K.
It's my first Defender and according to the wife, my only Defender 😀. Since buying it, she has had a new rear quarter chassis, bottom of doors sorted, new clutch, fully sound deadening inside, recovered the headlining, new tyres and wheels, re carpeted, had full service including replacing all oils and fluids, replaced door seals and hopefully stopped all the leaks. Also lots of other cosmetic stuff, and sailed through first MOT!

I'm now looking at sorting out the rust on the door pillars and getting the paintwork touched up. I think the door pillars need to be replaced. Can anyone recommend anyone in Dorset who could do this work including the paintwork please?

Thanks
Rog

Hi and welcome. Rear quarter chassis and door pillars.. oh dear! If it went though MOT then the parts can't be too bad! Let's see pics!!

Did you say you have a land rover that didn't leak!? Are you sure there's any oil in it!?

Hi and welcome!

Make sure you invest in lots of security measures. Landies are very popular with thieves.

+1 for pics!

HI, Security measures have also been added.

Pics attached of the Door pillars, the nearside is worse than the offside.
