Mute Button P38 4.6hse

Hello,
I have a P38 4.6 HSE and the "MUTE" button has appeared on the stereo and I cannot get it off.
Can anyone help?

did you use the steering wheel controls?

these seem to get clogged with dirt and for some reason over time can cause this issue or so ive been told when it happened to mine.

if you have the stereo code the quickest way to reset the stereo is to remove the fuse for it which is located on side of drivers seat at the bottom
this will reset the stereo but you will need to put the code in so if you do not have the code wait untill you get ti from the dealers then do it
