multiple fault warnings

I have a 2014 sd4 hse auto, a week ago I had been driving for about an hour when I stopped and reversed there was a jolt and a warning light saying gear box failure and cannot use all terrain modes but it seemed to be stuck in snow/ice setting, as I was in the highlands with no signal I drove it slowly home then switched the engine off when I got home and all seemed normal again, today I have just driven 20mins stopped at the shop and went to start it and its switching from saying hand brake failure then immobiliser failure, and wouldn't start as its just round the corner from the garage I've left it there for them to pick up in the morning but does anybody have any ideas what the problem is? I'm a typical female with no idea about cars!

It'll need a diagnostic read, then come back on here with the fault codes, before agreeing to have it repaired.

Update, I took it to my local garage and it turned out to be nothing more that a loose connection

Any idea which connection was loose, there are about 10,000 on this vehicle.
