When I bought my Landy it had four spotlights above the windscreen on the cage and the number plate was ty-wrapped to the cage below the windscreen. It was always on my to-do list to find a better place to put the number plate and recent use of the spotlights has highlighted a glare problem with them being where they are. So I decided to move the two middle spots to the front bumper and make a bracket to put the number plate on the cage between the remaining two spots.

Started by making up some brackets:

For the lights:

For the number plate:

The spotlight brackets were bolted using the two outer long bolts on the winch bumper that pass through the chassis:

The number plate was bolted to the bracket and the bracket was bolted to the light rail using the holes left by removing the two centre spots:

Lastly, I adjusted the two upper spots to shine slightly outboard on each side and this is the finished look:

nice job fella :)

As Paul says, they're unistrut brackets. Very handy things to have lying around.

As for the winch, I haven't had an opportunity to use it yet.

And thanks for the positive comments everyone.
