Mounting hi-lift jack on rear door

My 90, doesnt have the spare wheel on the rear door, instead it has been blanked.

I was thinking of mounting my hi-lift jack there?

I've seen hi-lifts mounted on the spare tyre, so maybe there's a bracket I can use on the holes where the spare wheel was mounted on the door?

anyone know where I can get this bracket from? or is it a custom made job?

ere jp,as ive now mounted my hilift on the rear carrier the proper hilift brackets that i used inside are now spare,i could sell ya them if ya want..just mount them on the door and put some strengthening plate behind ..job done

I have my high lift mounted on my spare wheel. Dunno who made my mount though. I pikied it from pikey.

hahaha, I looked at it, but they are fokin expensive!!!!

plus, my hi-lift is giving me a hard time as it wont go down! and i dont have another one to compare how the pins are put in place or how the whole mechanism is supposed to work.. only cost 20quid though!

how would i mount the brackets that you have, on the rear door? they are not specifict for rear door are they?

they can be mounted anywhere,ive seen them accross the top of the back of the roof and on the right rear side upwards on the back panel(like where mine is in pic)..
