Anyone have a good way to mount an Engel fridge, without using their slide lock mount, which costs like £125!

Booger, if you have lashing points I would replace the handle with a bracket and ratchet it down to the lashing point. Be carefull and dont use the handle! the screws are very very short and small (M4?) so too much leverage and it will put the threads out. I have turnbuckles holding mine the slide drawer (Aherm). you could do the same with lashing points using the same kit.

Thanks I was looking at that site, have you seen how much the prices have gone up recently. Anyway the 2010 models seem a bit fancier, was looking at the Eclipse 40 (38 litre), seems like the best value.
I think I just use the turnbuckle kit to mount it, or maybe just get the damn slide lock

slide loc is good. I had one fitted for a long time. Now have the slide drawer due to space and my shelf system.
They have gone up in price drastically. I monitored the prices last year as my MT45 was too tall for the mantec shelves. I was looking at the MT35 but the outlay was way too much, so I just raised the shelving some 7cm with some alu channel. I paid £300 second hand for mine. worth keeping your eyes peeled. alternatively, hire one from MPS? if its just for Moroc.
