Ok so just picked the truck up from the garage, which was closed.I have a few questions you guys might be able to help with.
1,"Fuel cap does not fasten securely maintaning the sealing arrangement".This is a brand new plastic replacement cap that states mot complient on the packet.Have just contacted halfords and they assure me it is DVLA approved for MOT's?.
2,"Both rear brake pipes inadequately clipped".I have renewed front and back pipes neither were "clipped" when removing. The new ones are plasty tied to the rear axle?.
3,"rear boot floor corroded".Fair cop although the rear seats are removed ready for welding next week?.
4,What is the "Front inner wing suspension componant mounting prescribed area?

And breath.........

1 fuel cap not sealing properly 2 if they're tied well this should be ok, pic ?
3 if its within 30cm of any body/ suspention/ seat mount its a fail
4 same, corrosion within 30 cm of a suspention mount

in order listed. if the cap is tight it's a pass. if it int lock the flap and don't let him have the key. if he can't check it he can't fail it.

As long as the brake lines are secure they don't hev to be in clips. but you can buy the clips for peanuts and they are held on with a cabletie.

There is no suspension components attached to the inner wing so the tester is a cnut

But their int a suspension mount on a disco inner wng spring and shocker pass thru an hole in the wing. Tester is wrong.

Agree.
If the inner wing is corroded around say the battery box ect that can be a fail but there are no suspention mounts in the wings, either got his discrription wrong or by the rest of the fails he may be a c'nt haha

There was a hole in the pasenger footwell which was welded last weekend,as was the o/s inner arch.
He also failed on corroded break pipe, front to back but passed the brakes as a whole?.Im guessing he is correct on that one?
The fuel cap is tight and secure but they say because it cant be locked its a fail?.
Proper p-ssed off.

Passing the brake efficiency is different to failing the workings, 2 seperate parts of the test .

I did wonder that
Not really bothered on that one, take me 10 minutes to run up a couple brake lines.
N/A Rear (boot floor) anchorage prescibed area corroded. Are the anchorage points not on the chasis rather than the boot floor?.Just another point he failed me on!.
