Depends what's wrong with it, what age it is, how long the MOT is, etc, etc, etc.

Normally however, if you're prepared to break it you'll probably get more £, but you'll need lots of space, time, and no need for the money in a hurry.

You'll also presumably be left with a shell and bits that no-one wants, which a scrap dealer may want paying for to take away on the grounds that all the good bits have already gone - but I'm happy to be corrected on this final point by more knowledgable members.

If you sell it you have money in your pocket and nothing in your drive.
If you break it you have to sell parts seperatly and wait for a buyer and have your drive way cluttered.
May bee you will get more by breaking but have more work and buyers .
Its up to you

Finances are tightening, as with everyone in the UK, an the missus doesnt like driving "big cars"...

Ive saved the beast once, but not sure i will get it back from the brink this time...

Talking of mods, now the beast is running properly... Surprised a old golf gti yesterday, he was getting up my arse on a slip road so i floored it, took him a few secs to recover from the shock of the old girl taking off before chasing me up the road.. Rather impressed with it now, actually pushed you back into the seat :D

Looking for peoples views here, looking like the rangie may have to go.

So am i better off selling it or breaking it???

It depends how much you value your time.

If you spend more than 9 minutes for each additional £1 received by breaking it, then you're working for less than minimum wage.
