on yer way out of the ferry terminal in Santander at the first roundabouit do a hairpin left and follow the road through the main street and you will find a Repsol station opposite main Ford dealer - they are cool with you filling as many jerry cans as you like. do a bit of route planning as if you take the Autoroute to Burghos you go through some tolls but following the road to Salamanca there are non, could even be worth following the A23 in Portugal on the way down as no tolls then cross over into Spain a bit further down (plus no speed cameras or police to bother you)
