Looking to create more leg room in the back of my 1989 110. Have see Exmoor trim to a seat frame that gives 2 inches more leg room but for £300 it's a lot. Any ideas????

I read an article about Foley cutting a out a piece of the floor at the rear of the seat allowing the back of the seat to drop lower allowing more leg room, They just welded a patch around it

make yerself up some extended metal plates to join the seat backs to the bases. You can use the originals as tenplates and just add an extra couple of inches (or whatever size you want) to allow the seat backs to sit further back. You won't move the actual seat but you will move the backrest back which means the occupants can sit further back thus giving more legroom.

Sounds good, think I will give this a go. Middle row legroom is just appalling in standard set up, anyone over 5ft6 has their knees driven into the front seat backs!
