Hi there,
I often read this forum, although I have never wrote a post. I'm a big fan of Land Rover and especially the L322 model and I apologize in advance for my English.

Coincidentally, I now bought one L322 in the belief that someone was trying to make the Vogue with V8 (M62 engine) like Supercharged version (lamps, grills, etc). But after examining the car, I found out that it will probably be the original Autobiography, which, according to the catalog, did not do this model year except for the Autobiography Edition, only 125 Range Rover's were released. The design and date of manufacture fit for the Autobiography Edition ...

Since the car is not 100% original (rear lamps, side vents and front grille from SC + other modifications), I would like to find out more about this edition. But in this case, unfortunately, Google is silent and I found out onlya few lines in the catalog.

Does anyone have more documents, photos of what the car should look like? Should the front grill, side vents and rear lights be standard for this model year, or other? Inside, high gloss black is supposed to be just on the dashboard, or even on the door and around the gear lever?

Thank you for any advice, it's quite a surprise for me

Hello
Lukas ;)

Is the a "Land Rover Special Vehicles" plate on the bonnet slam panel ? If so you can email LRSV division and they will provide the original specs.

Unfortunately not, the car does not have a label indicating that it is a limited edition.

But I found out this offer for 2003 AB https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1098498, it solves most of my questions.:)

So, vents, grill and rear lights are standard, nothing special.

So the question remains now, what about that. I originally bought it because of the parts I need. On the other hand, it would not be such a problem to restore this to its original state.

Does it make any more sense to leave this, or is it not much more interesting than a lot of HSE / Vogue?

Your RR should make you happy

I don’t think it’s worth restoring to completely original, unless of course that is what you want.
There must have been something you liked about it to buy, if there’s something you don’t like - change it ;)

Yeah, there isn't much difference, I found out just this:

Dashboard in leather (not top, lower dash trim)
High gloss black dashboard trim (same like Supercharged)
Perforated leather seats (same like Supercharged)
High gloss trim on doors (not lower, upper around door handle)
Door sills with Autobiography badge
Logic 7 badges on speakers grills (I don't know if it is same system like regular H/K with DSP, Logic 7 badges was for newer L322 with Jaguar electronics (MY05 ->) and they have different amplifier etc)

And maybe rear additional speakers on tailgate (MY05- have additional speakers in rear pillars). But I don't know if it is standard equipment for Autobiography Edition, or it is there due original rear Sony multimedia system...
