Mongoose Pro problem

Morning all,
I’ve been using a Mongoose pro for a few years which I think is genuine.
It’s been excellent and worked really well however…..my daughter came around with her FL2 yesterday and although the Mongoose was showing as connected in the VM I could nor read the car VIN (I rebooted the VM a few times ) so I used a different device.
Then yesterday I was trying to do some work on my 4.2 S/C sport as the suspension has ‘gone wonky’
I could connect to the car and read the VIN but as soon as I tried to read the car the Mongoose disconnected from windows with usual windows device disconnected chime. I can reconnect it immediately in the VM but as soon as it tries to read the car it instantly disconnects.

Again I can connect a different OBD device

Does anyone have any ideas - dead or dying Mongoose?

Hi Steve.
Hopefully someone in the know will post up, and you can get it sorted out.

Have you tried a different USB port?
