After seeing some photos on here of chassis swaps and similar things, I realised that the right-hand engine mount on my chassis has been modified (see photos). The second photo shows where the battery support plate leg has been cut off where the original was removed.

Can anyone post a photo of what the correct chassis to engine bracket used here should look like? I will need one if I end up buying a new chassis. It will be easier to find one at shows etc. once I know what I'm looking for.

Thanks for any info.

The only bracket is a small one, usually left on the engine and not the chassis, looks pretty much the same as the near side bracket. Before yours was altered that box section part would have extended another few inches then angled downwards, the rubber engine mount then bolted to that. I've got a couple of sets of standard series engine mount brackets.

Thanks for the reply.

I meant my post to mean that I needed a photo of the bracket that is left on the engine. I have seen some photos of what the chassis bracket should look like.

Is the engine bracket actually the same as the nearside one or are they different in some way?

It's a standard Land Rover 2.25 Diesel Engine.

I know that the mount is not standard, that was the purpose of the thread.

The bracket that is welded onto the chassis has been cut down, and the extended bracket bolted to the side of the engine.

I have seen the chassis bracket in rubins4's thread. What I am interested in is what the bracket that bolts onto the side of the engine (that is used with a standard chassis) looks like.
