We are currently thinking of getting our 3rd freebie. Set out eyes on what we thought was a facelift and went to see it. When we had a look around i noticed the rear bumber is the pre-facelift one (flat lying lights at the bottom and Land Rover written in between) when i asked about its YOM i found out it was 2002 (rear bumper was correct) Also, although commercial, it has glass at the back (which i got to know there are companies in the UK which convert them)

Should I Steer clear?

People on here have changed the headlights from the earlier ones, from what people have said it's not a straight forward swap so I'd of thought it was a mod rather than a repair. The hardback may of been damaged and the previous owner may not of been to get/ afford a commercial one to replace it. If you like it just make sure it's straight and everything works. You've had Freelanders before so I'm assuming you know what you're looking at. And I haven't forgotten about measuring the roof rails.

Dunc

HAHA no hurry about the roof rails don't worry. Don't actually know, this dealer told me it's no biggie to replace them. The roof IS commercial, the Vehicle has the rear glass. I'll check its every spot and see what results
