Hi All,

I have a 1995 LWB Mitsibishi Pajero 3.5 V6. My wife was driving it this
morning in 2WD (RWD) and almost lost it altogether goind around a roundabout
in 2WD. She wasn't going fast and the road was dry. Now, i've noticed that
it feels quite light at the rear when cornering and I've had it twitch a few
times but my wife is now too scared to even drive it. Now, I 've seen
mention that with the wrong oil in the LSD it can cause the diff to lock and
cause the rear end to go. If the wrong oil had been used would I need a new
diff?

Also, the tyres that I am running are made in the USA by General (I forget
the actual model). I was wondering if the tyres could also be at fault.
Anyone any experience of General tyres?

Please help, because my wife wont even go near it now. If I can't fix this,
then I'm just going to have to sell.

Cheers guys,

Wayne.

Used General Grabber AT tyres on my Shogun for years no problem

Could your wifes experience be due to say a diesel spill on the roundabout?
