Apologies for posting this in the Series forum but I think my 1988 Defender uses Series style seats - certainly my new seat base and rears are also designed to fit a Series.
Fitting of the new seat highlighted a problem with my passenger seat - there is no frame to stop the seat base from sliding around. The drivers side (picture 1) has a sliding base, but the passenger side (picture 2) seems only to have rails.
Can someone please enlighten me on exactly what is missing so I can go tracking down a replacement. I would imagine that it would be similar (but non moving) to the drivers seat frame but I cannot se any way of attaching it. I would appreciate it if someone could post a photo of their passenger seat frame.
On the defender, the battery is under the passenger seat - I would imaging that the frame was removed to make access easier.
If anyone does have a suitable seat frame that they nolonger need, or could point me in the direction of a place that I may acquire one, it would be appreciated.
Thanks
