My 265/75R16 wheels and tyres are being delivered tomorrow (thanks to Santa)
Planning on fitting them onto my 1972 Series 3.
Problem is I have a set of 2" lift shackles that I haven't been able to fit yet so my question is:

Will I be able to fit these before I get the shackles on?

What tyres do you have on there now??? how worn are the springs??? how much clearance do you currently have???

Cheers Steve

Cheers for the replies.

It's got quiet a bit of clearance still. (probably 5-6")
It currently has 205 tyres on with road tread. Heaven knows why.
I will still fit the lift kit but at least I can still bolt in my Christmas present from Mrs Stumpy.

I assume, that they are going to stick out of the arches by quite a bit so better start looking at getting some arch extensions next.

they shouldnt do, mine had 235s on, and wil have 265s on, and the wheels were about flussh with the wings, i think with the extra 1.5cm on each side of the tyre you should be fine without arch extensions. (mine were also on modulars with a wider than standard offset)
