Tdv8? No 4.4 petrol in a 2016. Full fat or sport?4.4 V8
I wouldn't be very happy if I found them in mine. Wouldn't say it's common on the 4.4tdv8 if thats what yours is. Has it got good service history? How long you had it and who found the filings? Is it a common issue to find metal filings in the oil filter?
LR dealer found the filings then?Yes it's the diesel.
It's fully approved servicing.
Haha, well I'm 10% of the way there. Original post corrected.I'd be just happy it got to 450000 miles
Any warranty from where you bought it?Sorry I had to check.
Sorry the last service, last month, was carried out by a specialist, who found the filings. His advice was just to get rid of the car.
All other services have been main dealer.
Edited to add: I have only owned the car for 9 months.
I would take his advice.Sorry I had to check.

For one of those, I'd only offer the empty wine gum bag.I'll start the bidding at a bag of wine gums but no black ones yet
