message centre not operating

Recently bought a 4.0lt V8 with LPG conversion I am not getting any !! messages in the message centre display. The only display is the total vehicle mileage. Also no function from trip computer.
Any information about where to start to correct this ???

Sounds like a Becm issue - put it on a diagnostics like Testbook or Faultmate and try to display something via that....

You could try putting some new backlight bulbs in.
