Maverick/Terano ABS fault.

Maverick/Terano ABS fault.

I have a developing fault on my Maverick. A month a go whilst driving,
we would here a pumping sound come from under the bonnet and it would
run for a couple of seconds. This has now become more frequent, still
only for a couple of seconds, and developed to a point where I am
getting the ABS action through the brake pedal under light braking on
tarmac surfaces. Had it into my local garage who had to get the program
to do an analysis on the truck. This told them that a wheel sensor had
gone intermittent so they replaced it. This has NOT cured the problem.
They are baffled. They have put the original sender back in and removed
the ABS fuse so we can drive it and hopefully the fault will become more
prominent. They are having it back in in a few weeks time to link it to
the comp; to try and pinpoint just what is going on.

In the meantime, has anyone here had this fault and would be prepared to
let me know through the Newsgroup what was wrong and what the cure was.
